Stripe holds your payment. The brand ships from its own Korean warehouse via DHL eCommerce or FedEx (5–9 business days to LA). You're the importer on the US side; we hand you the commercial invoice + packing list + Korea-US trade-agreement certificate already filled out. Seven-day window after receipt to flag any defects before funds release to the brand.
What happens after you sign up

Upload your CA seller's permit (or equivalent state business license) and EIN. Solo estheticians on a license-holder permit work too — message us if your setup is non-standard. We confirm with the issuing agency and unlock wholesale-tier pricing. Manual review for the founding group; automated after.
Korean indie brands typically require 100–300 units per order — too high for any one small spa. We pool 3–5 LA spas going for the same brand into one purchase order that meets the minimum. You order what you actually need. Trial Pack ($150–$250, free returns within 14 days) lets you skip the pool entirely until you've sold through.
You pay into Stripe Connect escrow at order time. Funds stay locked until you mark the goods received. Seven-day window to flag defective items before funds release to the brand.
Once escrow is funded, the brand ships from its own Korean warehouse via DHL eCommerce or FedEx International Priority — typically 5–9 business days to LA. You're the importer on the US side; you handle US import duties (cosmetics qualify for 0% under the Korea-US trade agreement, vs. 15% otherwise) and CA sales tax. We hand you the commercial invoice, packing list, and trade-agreement certificate already filled out and signed by the brand. We never touch the goods.
You write in English. The brand replies in Korean. Steven (Korean, US-resident) translates and bridges in real time — same-day for ordering questions, next-business-day for product or formulation questions. No support tier, no relay.
If a shipment arrives broken, expired, or wrong formula, flag it within 7 days. Funds stay frozen in escrow until we mediate between you and the brand. No chargeback drama, no language barrier.
Every brand verified at the source
Every brand is checked against the Korean tax office's public business-registration database before it appears in the catalog. If a brand can't prove a real Korean entity behind it, we don't list it.
